Describe the world you come from and how you, as a product of it, might add to the diversity of the University of Washington.

At Pitzer, freshman applicants must use the Common Application and answer one of two supplemental essay prompts.

One of these prompts is a diversity essay prompt that asks you to write about your community.

Choose one of the communities to which you belong, and describe that community and your place within it.

Unlike U-M, which requires a full-length response to its diversity essay prompt, the University of Washington asks only for a short answer.
