I feel sorry for you bud, your Miami life and experience sounds REALLY lame; specially if you took the time to write down 25 things “you must know” about everything YOU hate. You sound like a total reject, I’m not sure anyone in Miami or any other city would want to deal with you. If you move to other cities, different problems will unravel as well. That’s what my husband and I did and it suits us very well. I think the dumb insult was uncalled for, not ALL Miami residents are dumb and simply belittle the Latin’s living here is wrong I think. No wonder you can’t have fun in Miami, you have no friends.
And you won’t get unfunny jokes that people laugh at anyway. People in Miami live at home until they’re, like, dead. We like to be family not kick our sons and daughters out of ‘home’ when they are 18!
Businesses – at least ones that don’t involve bottle service or sushi – are not. You won’t be able to make small talk with strangers. Everyone lives at home – Getting the third degree from your date’s father didn’t end when you graduated High School! Offices are like zoos – The only way your workplace’s loud music, noisy phone conversations, and Spanglish yelling across cubicles will seem normal is if your previous workplace was a dog kennel. Everyone is short – If you’re male and over 6 feet tall, you will generally have every guy in the bar trying to fight you by 2 a.m. Its nice to know I am not alone in my disgust and named all of the reason why I moved away from Miami. I know a lot of people that have come here for Spring Break or the Winter Music Conference and have decided Miami’s the place for them, and while as a business person, I welcome their economic stimulus, it can definitely get annoying when it gets even worse to find parking at the beach or there’s more congestion due to traffic accidents from people who haven’t learned how to properly drive down here. You have huge balls “Evrething” you wrote is illegible and incomprehensible. You’re part of the reason this city gets a bad reputation. We’ve got a massive enough of a population boom already, and traffic isn’t getting any easier with the influx. You may be kinda bitter and have some racist undertones, but your views may be a bit off. Being a WHITE ANGLO over 40 years old, growing up and living in Miami for over 35 years, I can tell you this list hit the nail right on the head.
